GARDEN TIPS

Lawns..

  • rake ad remove dead grass and thatch.
  • aerate with a garden fork or rent an aerating machine.
  • Spread about 1/4 " of Bylands Top Dressing
  • apply Nurseryland Classic Plus Lawn Fertilizer (25-3-7).

Planting:

  • roses, perennials, fruit trees, shrubs, evergreens, shade trees and small fruits such as grapes, raspberries, and strawberries can all be planted
  • early vegetable crops such as radishes, lettuce, onions, cabbage, peas and broad beans can be planted

Gardening Seminars:

  • take advantage of attending free Gardening Seminars on Sundays

Fertilizing: 

  • wash winter dusts  off cedars and junipers before applying Nurseryland Evergreen Food.  This will help the plant absorb the fertilizer better through the foliage and the roots.
