KIDZ PROGRAMS

Bylands Kidz Club is for children ages 5-12 who love to play in the garden. They’ll enjoy the experience of learning and planting flowers and vegetables. In fact, we have activities planned year round! So, let your kids come to the garden centre and get their hands dirty..

Some activities include: Scavenger Hunt, Planting from Seed, Making Bird Feeders, Make Your Own Stepping Stone, Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day Planters, etc. Classes are 45 minutes to 1 hour long and a nominal cost for activities does apply.

Pre-registration required and classes fill quickly so sign up soon! Adult accompaniment required for younger children and parents or guardians are required to stay on premises during activities.

Plant a Kitchen Garden

Choose from an assortment of herbs to create a kitchen garden. Each child will create their own basket and make their own plant tags.
Clay Pot People

Take various sizes of clay pots and piece together to make a pot person for a window sill or garden. Each child will plant the head to watch it grow.
Stepping Stones-part 1

Using plaster if paris, integrate pieces of ceramic pots, shape to large gunnera, castor bean, rhubarb leaves. This is a two week project.
