Event Type:

Come and join Annabel for this instructive workshop she will enthuse you with creative woven ideas for your garden using the prunings that would normally be composted or burnt, from panels to grow frames. Nothing is wasted!

Learn from Annabel Stanley, who was born and brought up in England in the late 60’s. She has had a career in Horticulture, Viticulture and Floristry, working in London, England, France, New Zealand and Canada. During her 12 year stay in New Zealand she started weaving with the local willow, dog wood, moss, grapes vines and other fibres to create vibrant and natural woven structures. Annabel, Grant and their son Francis relocated to the Okanagan in 2003. They purchased their own 2 acre vineyard in 2005 and in addition to growing over 5 tonnes of Pinot Noir Annabel gathers her own vine canes (prunings) to continue her woven pieces of art and garden structures.
