- Assorted vegetable seeds, 2 packets per participant

- Seed tray labels and markers

- Watering cans

- How to design an edible garden that suits your space, climate, and goals
- How to read seed packets and choose high-yield varieties
- Seed starting basics, including watering, temperature, and when to pot up
- Direct seeding vs transplanting, in-ground vs container growing
- Succession planting for continuous harvests
- Fertilising, composting, companion planting, and season extension strategies

- Hand seed a full tray of assorted vegetable seeds to take home
- Create a rough draft of your edible garden plan

She developed her skills working on organic vegetable farms in Oregon and later founded Vibrant Acres Farm in West Kelowna, BC. Today, she shares her expertise both in the garden and in the sales yard at Bylands Garden Centre in West Kelowna.
